Safety

Guardian-led safety: trusted adults, safe places, handover and emergency contact in one experience.

Design stance

In development

The safety product is not yet released as a complete product. This page describes the design and planned scope; it is not a current service.

Trusted adults

In development

Only adults a guardian explicitly designates can see limited information for a limited period. Grants expire and can be revoked at any time.

Safe places and arrival

In development

Register schools and activities as safe places and notify guardians of arrival and departure.

Handover

In development

Checkpoints record who took over a child and when, visible only to those involved.

Emergency

In development

Emergency starts with a single action, with press-and-hold and a cancel window to prevent mistakes. We do not guarantee response times or emergency-service integration.

How location levels work

In development

Location is handled in levels from L0 (off, default) to L3 (precise, active safety windows only). A child never sees another person's precise location.

Three safety scenes

In development

Concrete scenes—school run, activities and emergencies—show who does what, what they receive, and what we do not promise.

  1. School run: arrival reaches the guardian

Why: peace of mind on the school run. How: a notice when a safe place is reached. You get: arrival and departure alerts. You cannot: rely on delivery when the device is offline, or share the history with unrelated people.

  2. Activity: handover is recorded

Why: to remove ambiguity about who collected the child. How: record handover at a checkpoint. You get: a record visible only to those involved. You cannot: disclose it to third parties without consent.

  3. Emergency: press and hold to start

Why: to start help quickly without accidental triggers. How: press and hold with a cancel window. You get: the emergency action started. We cannot: guarantee response times, connect to public services, or give medical or legal judgement.
